First home ever opened by RHA

RHA has been providing incredible services to people with Developmental Disabilities for over 57 years.

We continue to build on the strong foundation that has been built to progress into the future with people always being at the center of who we are.

RHA was founded in 1966 by a group of parents and family members who wanted residential services in the community for their loved ones. Until this time, individuals with disabilities were cared for by large state ran institutions that housed individuals and provided little opportunity for community membership. The first home was on Lexington Avenue in Dayton. Since then, RHA has grown throughout Montgomery County providing licensed residential services, supported living services, adult day services, respite, drop in / in home services, and transportation services.
